Did you know that stopping smoking can reduce your risk of developing dementia?
Stoptober is back for a sixth year and will be helping people to give up smoking for 28 days and hopefully more.
Smokers across Warwickhire are encouraged to take part in the mass quitting challenge from Public Health England and join the growing number of people across the country who have already quit. The challenge starts on Sunday, 1st October.
Last years campaign was very successful; in Warwickshire 3963 people made the attempt to quit smoking for good and 1681 were successful in their attempts. This year it is hoped that even more people will take up the challenge.
For more information go to the Stoptober website and choose the package of support that will help you quit for good, including details of your local stop smoking services.
Don’t delay, start today.
