The long term prospects of Camp Hill are that of a thriving sustainable community equipped with better housing, a better living environment, better opportunities in employment, education and training and high aspirations for their own future. As such a  key aim is to enhance the employment prospects, education and skills of local people. 

In improving the economic viability of the regeneration area there are several schemes alongside the physical regeneration schemes which intend to encourage businesses to relocate to Camp Hill.

In addition the CHEERS project and Opportunities Centre are helping people into work and to develop new skills.
