If you are a carer in Warwickshire you can benefit from the Carers Wellbeing Service which enables you to access support quickly and conveniently.
The service offers support in a number of ways, including well being checks which are an opportunity for carers to talk through their individual situations, plan for maintaining their own well being, access discounted services. and access to statutory and specialist support. Carers can also access training, support groups, information on services, regular e bulletins and provision of Emergency Cards.
Warwickshire County Council is also working on embedding the service offer within all Warwickshire GP surgeries. This will include the appointment of a named, local Carer Well Being Worker connected to each surgery to support early identification of those undertaking caring roles and work closely with them.
