Camp Hill Young People’s Holiday Scheme (CHYPS) is organising a trip to West Midlands Safari Park for local young people and their families.
The trip will take place on Saturday, 16th September. If you are interested please pop into the CHESS Centre on Cedar Road and pick up an application form. The deadline for returning completed forms is 31st August. Please read the details below.
The trip is for families with children aged 0 – 16 years old living in or on the outskirts of the Camp Hill ward. There is a maximum of 2 adults (aged 16 or over) and 4 children per family . Children under 2 must have a car seat to travel.
There are two price levels which give different access to the park.
£5.00 per person includes access to the following:
- Drive through safari
- Land of the Living Dinosaurs
- Discovery Trail
- Boj Giggly Park
- African Village
- Sea Lion Theatre
- Daily feeds, talks and animal encounters.
Please note – if you choose the £5.00 option but change your mind, when you get there you will need to buy a wristband which is £14.00 per adult and £11.00 per child. The smaller rides require a minimum height of 0.8 metres, so you will be unable to buy a wristband for anyone who is shorter than that in standard footwear. Some of the rides may require children to be accompanied so one adult per family will need a wristband to accompany children.
£7.50 per child/£10 per adult gives you access to all of the above plus access to the Adventure Theme Park where you will have dozens of rides to choose from such as a pirate ship or the roller coaster.
