The Warwickshire Young Carers’ Project offers support to Young Carers, aged 8 – 25.
Young carers help to look after a sibling, parent or relative with a disability, long term illness, mental health issues or substance misuse problems.
Young Carers may be impacted by what is going on at home and may help in many different ways such as providing personal care, giving medicine, doing household chores, looking after siblings or giving emotional support.
The Young Carers’ Project offers regular groups, activities and 121 support for young carers’. It gives them time to have fun away from their caring responsibilities, make friends with other carers and spend time in a supportive understanding environment.
