Compulsory Purchase Order

A CPO is a legal process that enables Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council to acquire the necessary land and interests to take forward the development. Notices are served on all persons who have an interest affected by the CPO

An initial compulsory Purchase Order, known as “Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council (Camp Hill Phase 3 – Rowan Road, Spring Hill Road and Ludford Road) Compulsory Purchase Order 2008 (No.1)”, relating to the area also known as Stage 2a of the Phase 3 redevelopment, was confirmed by the secretary of state on 4th September 2009. Subsequently, the Phase Three development stayed well on course, with development partner Barratt Homes on site since Autumn 2009.
