Phase 3 Delivery

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council (NBBC) is responsible for the management and delivery of Phase 3 of the redevelopment.  The  NBBC Housing Options Team and Kazim Datoo, from Pride in Camp Hill, will be working with residents whose homes have been earmarked for demolition.

A series of Phase 3 Re-housing fact sheets have been designed to help residents through their housing options.  There are different version of the sheet for owner occupiers, council tenants, private tenants and landlords to explore their options.  Kazim Datoo will deliver the sheets to affected residents around the time of their independent valuation (detailed below.)

During the process the affected residents can expect three visits as shown below:

Housing Needs Assessments

Kazim Datoo will be contacting Phase 3 residents to talk through their personal circumstances and how they affect their housing needs on a one-to-one basis. This will normally be 6 – 12 months before their home is required for the redvelopment.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council will then send a letter about arranging a valuation on the property, to the occupiers if the property is owner occupied and to the landlord if it is rented. It will be the landlords responsibility to let their tenants know.

Housing Options Visit

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council will then send a letter about a Housing Options Visit. The visits are done by the Housing Options Team from NBBC, who will discuss the residents options for housing. It is hoped these visits will help residents to make informed decisions about their future

If you have any queries about the above please call the Housing Options Team on 02476 376376 or Kazim Datoo on 02476 399093.
