p.h.i.l (preventing homelessness and improving lives) works across Warwickshire with households who are in private rented accommodation or living with family and friends, and who are at risk of homelessness.  They offer help and advice, targeted to the level of individual need, to tackle the the early warning signs of homelessness, including change in income, missed or late rent payments, relationship breakdown or a change in mental health.

Each household is assigned a dedicated Prevention Co ordinator who develops a Personal Housing and Well Being Plan which will address a range of issues.  p.h.i.l also offer detailed advice on renting in the private sector and if the household is at risk of eviction they can offer mediation with landlords or families.

To talk to them, or make a referral, please call 017 8853 3644 or email phil@rugby.gov.uk.

Your can also visit the p.h.i.l website which has a self-help ‘Housing Options Wizard’ tool.  Check out the p.h.i.l Facebook page too .
