The Opportunities Centre

Since opening in late 2003, The Opportunities Centre, located on Pool Road, has provided training for the local community.  100’s of residents have undertaken hands-on training in construction, motorbike repair & horticulture.  As well as work experience & apprenticeship places with Lovell & Barratt Mercia.

The project is a partnership between Warwickshire County Council, North Warwickshire & Hinckley College and the Camp Hill Employment Enterprise Resources (CHEERS) Project.

The Centre offers vocational training to local residents and people across the CNRZ. Training takes place in an informal setting and can lead to formal qualifications such as the Foundation Qualification in multi-skills for the Construction Industry. In addition a work experience programme is helping young people who are in their final two years at school.
