Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council are asking residents if they want to change the current re-cycling system. A one bin-for-all recycling could be introduced across the Borough.
Currently residents have to sift through their recycling and put in into separate compartments within the brown-lid bin but that could change. The Council is looking to put the recycling contract out to tender and as part of this want to hear what residents want from the service.
As part of the plans, a poll is running on the Council’s social media to give people the chance to vote to stick with the current re-cycling system or to change it – to a one-bin-for-all recycling system – where items would not have to be separated.
The results of this poll will be passed on to decision-makers at the council who will take it into account along with a number of other factors when deciding what sort of recycling service to provide for the borough in the future.
