I came to Camp Hill to take on the role of Assistant Curate at the Parish Church of St Mary and St John (just opposite the CHESS Centre on Cedar Road) in June 2015 and was delighted to be invited to join the Pride in Camp Hill Management Board soon after.

The vast majority of Camp Hill residents, of course, remember Father Dennis Sneath who moved here in the early 1950s and worked hard, alongside the people of this parish, to build the church and the church hall right at the heart of the estate.  I am keen not only to continue Father Sneath’s work but to develop what he began by working closely with this community to the benfit of all.  Being a member of the Pride in Camp Hill Board, of course, offers a great opportunity to do just that.

I am fortunate, also, to be on the Board of Governors at Camp Hill Primary School and, with the people of St Mary and St John, am keen to find new ways to help and support what is, as has become very obvious to me since I have been here, clearly still a very strong community.
